Archery instruction/Lessons

Our instructors are certified through USA Archery. Our instructors have the knowledge and experience to help you meet your archery goals from beginner to seasoned archer. If you are a hunter, or aspiring target shooter, amateur to pro we can help you improve your skillset. Our instructors also participate in annual background checks and SafeSport certification to ensure a safe environment for instruction.

Individual lessons are available in 30 minute and 1-hour sessions. We are experienced in all forms of target archery and can help with physical and mental strategies for continued success. Contact us directly to discuss your individual needs and goals.

Bow setup

Includes Checking/Setting your draw length & draw weight. Checking and verifying other bow specs including axle to axle length, brace height, etc. and making adjustments when possible, to bring the bow back into spec. Check and set cam timing where applicable. Installing any accessories necessary for your individual setup. Set center shot and verify by shooting through paper to ensure optimum arrow flight. Install and set peep sight for your individual need.

Draw length and Draw weight adjustment

Adjust your bow’s draw length and weight to match your size and comfort level for a proper fit.

Custom String building

We custom build strings and cable sets for most bows. Our strings are made of premium materials from BCY and Bloodline fiber. Our precision string building process ensures a premium quality string comparable to any manufacturer. We have access to most factory specifications so we can build a precision string that matches your bows exact lengths. This ensures that your bow will have the proper draw length, brace height, Axle to axle length, and geometry. By doing this we can set your bow up to achieve optimum performance and accuracy.

Our strings are pre stretched and go directly from the string building jig onto your bow so that “shoot in” time is reduced to a minimum. Our process also ensures proper peep rotation shot after hot. We offer over 50 different colors of string material and multiple options of serving colors. Let us custom build a string for your bow to express your own personality.

Rest Tuning

Includes properly setting center-shot, adjusting rest timing when applicable, and shooting through paper to verify clean arrow flight.

Bare shaft tuning

Take your bow’s consistency to the next level with bare shaft tuning. We paper tune your bow with your bare arrow shaft through paper at multiple distances to ensure optimum arrow flight. Tuning your bow with a bare arrow shaft will ensure the optimum baseline for consistent arrow flight and accuracy. This method will produce the best results toward achieving consistent point of impact when comparing field point and broad heads. Especially when combined with weight matching and spine indexing your arrows.

Custom/Precision Arrow building

The premium arrow build! We match your arrows and components to the tightest of tolerances. In most cases we can have a full dozen quality arrows weighing less than 1grain difference. By having the weights this close it helps to ensure that the entire dozen arrows will fly the same speed from your bow. This helps to ensure that all arrows have the same trajectory in flight to help reduce inconsistencies from arrow to arrow.

Precision Arrow Tuning

Once your arrows have been weight matched, we can Spine index your arrows, so they are all shooting at the same point on the spine in relation to the bow. We take your bare un-fletched shaft and find the spine or stiff point of the arrow. Often referred to as nock tuning, we have two different options to spine index your arrows. The first option is the static spine method. Using a jig, we spin the arrow to find the stiffest part of the spine before fletching it.

The second option (the best method) is the dynamic method. We shoot your arrow through a bow, (preferably your bow) on a shooting machine. By indexing the arrows we can get them to impact as close as possible to each other at twenty yards. This is done with the bare shaft before fletching. Once each shaft has been indexed, we fletch them with your choice of fletching. This method when combined with weight matching and bare shaft tuning will often produce accuracy of field points and broadheads having the same point of impact with multiple arrows.

Sight Leveling

We can level your sight on all three axis, X, Y and Z, so that your sight level is reading true. This can make a significant difference when shooting uphill, downhill, or from an elevated position as in a tree stand. Note: not all sights are able to be leveled on all three axes. Some may only be capable of being leveled on one or two axes depending on how it is built.

Fletching Repair

We can custom fletch your arrow/s or Crossbow bolts with a variety of fletching’s available in different sizes, shapes, and colors.

Crossbow Assembly and setup

Purchased a crossbow from a box store or online? Not sure how to assemble it? We can assemble your crossbow properly to ensure safe operation and performance.

Crossbow Sighting

Need to have your crossbow sighed in? We can sight your crossbow in at 20 yards to save you time. In most cases you will need to make minor adjustments for longer distances and for differences in your sight picture.
